QFlux designed and developed a new website for a group of destination management companies to reflect their renewed brand identity and bring multiple regional brands together within a single, cohesive digital experience.
At the beginning of 2020, several leading European travel companies united under one name Tour Partner Group (TPG). This new alliance brought together over 300 B2B travel experts representing the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Nordics, and the Baltics. With a unified identity and modern online presence, TPG aimed to strengthen its international positioning and open new opportunities across the travel industry.
QFlux was commissioned to create a bold, engaging, and visually rich travel website that would support this transformation. The main goal was to move away from the overly corporate appearance of their previous sites and instead express the vibrant personality of the new TPG brand. The client wanted to emphasize their bright brand colors in a dynamic, creative way while maintaining a professional and approachable tone.
Since visual storytelling plays a central role in the travel industry, breathtaking photography became the foundation of the design. On the TPG website, images take center stage, serving as both inspiration and a key design element. QFlux designers used these visuals to build custom galleries and interactive slideshows that immerse visitors in the destinations TPG represents.
To complement the strong imagery, our team developed a soft pastel color palette that evokes warmth and authenticity while keeping the focus on photography. The chosen earthy tones were inspired by sunlit landscapes and golden-hour light, symbolizing the emotional connection people build through travel. This color approach helped the brand move beyond its corporate roots and achieve a more welcoming, human-centered look and feel.
Visually, the website design resembles a travel journal or photo album, filled with overlapping images that create a sense of nostalgia and adventure. A star motif, echoing both the compass from TPG’s logo and the spirit of exploration — is subtly woven throughout the design, reinforcing the theme of discovery and direction.
As a finishing touch, QFlux introduced a set of delightful microinteractions and smooth UI animations, including an interactive 3D globe that users can explore. Despite the complexity of these visual features, our WordPress developers ensured that the site remains fully optimized, lightweight, and responsive across all devices.
