RCAD is an innovative startup based in the UK that delivers accurate, immersive, and photorealistic virtual experiences for designers, builders, architects, and their clients. The company transforms 2D CAD drawings into interactive, VR-ready 3D models, helping users visualize designs in a fully explorable environment. With this technology, RCAD enables clients to reduce design time, minimize consulting costs, and make more confident creative decisions.
As a new market entrant, RCAD needed a full-scale digital launch strategy, including a distinct brand identity, a marketing website, client and admin web portals, and a VR application. The goals were ambitious: establish a recognizable presence in the architectural visualization market, build credibility with a high-end audience, and provide a seamless digital workflow that connects design professionals and their clients.
QFlux began the project by developing a comprehensive brand identity that captured RCAD’s precision, creativity, and innovation. We created multiple mood boards exploring typography, colors, and visual directions. The chosen style balanced technical sophistication with artistic warmth, using black to convey precision and confidence, paired with beige tones to add softness and balance.
Visual elements were inspired by the concept of “creation from a single drawing,” emphasizing the transition from 2D plans to fully immersive 3D environments. The resulting aesthetic blended architectural geometry with abstract minimalism, aligning perfectly with RCAD’s mission.
The logo design followed the same principles: geometric, clean, and symbolic. The logomark was integrated into the letter “R,” featuring an arc motif that echoed the word “Arcade,” visually tying it to the company name. Built from perfect circles and straight lines, the logo expressed both technical accuracy and creative elegance. Once finalized, all brand assets were compiled into a complete brand guideline to ensure long-term visual consistency.
Next, QFlux designed and developed RCAD’s marketing website to introduce the brand and generate leads. The process began with sitemap creation and wireframing, ensuring a clear structure and intuitive navigation. The visual design incorporated the new branding, while a set of custom illustrations was developed to communicate RCAD’s values, innovation, and technical excellence.
To support marketing outreach, QFlux also designed brochures, business cards, and email templates, strengthening the company’s professional image at launch. These assets helped RCAD quickly establish a credible and cohesive presence across both digital and print channels.
A major focus of the project was the creation of two web portals. One for clients and one for the internal RCAD team.
The client portal allows users to upload 2D drawings, which are then processed by the admin team.
The admin portal enables RCAD specialists to convert those drawings into immersive VR models.
Through the portal, clients can experiment with design variations, adjusting layouts, materials, colors, and textures in real time. This system not only enhances the customer experience but also improves RCAD’s internal efficiency by streamlining communication and project tracking.
To ensure a flawless experience, QFlux conducted usability testing with real users, analyzing feedback and refining the wireframes before final design implementation. For the UI, we adopted Ant Design to accelerate development, optimize performance, and ensure scalability.
Since RCAD’s core value lies in virtual immersion, QFlux also developed a custom VR application that allows clients to explore their designs in a realistic 3D environment. Before development, we analyzed competing products and industry guidelines to create a solution that was not only technically sound but also intuitive and visually stunning. The VR app became a key differentiator, helping RCAD deliver on its promise of truly immersive architectural experiences.
The collaboration between RCAD and QFlux resulted in a powerful, unified brand and digital ecosystem. The marketing website positioned RCAD as a modern, trustworthy innovator. The client and admin portals simplified operations, enabling faster project turnaround and better communication. The VR app provided an engaging, state-of-the-art experience that impressed both clients and industry peers.
Finally, the custom branding and print materials gave RCAD the polished image of an established, forward-thinking company. Even as a newcomer to the market. Today, RCAD stands as a recognized name in architectural visualization, offering unparalleled virtual experiences that bridge the gap between imagination and reality.
