SalesHero is a company dedicated to helping sales engineers grow their expertise through improvement programs that include training courses, books, and other educational resources. Founded by Patrick Pissang, SalesHero provides a pathway for professionals to develop their skills and advance along their sales engineering journey.

Patrick envisioned a website that would stand out through a bold, futuristic, and fantasy-inspired design. Something unconventional yet deeply symbolic of the challenges and triumphs in a sales engineer’s career. To achieve this, the QFlux team conducted extensive research and created multiple UI concepts with tailored tones of voice and visual directions. Together with the client, we decided on a dark color palette and illustration-driven aesthetic that would express both mystery and ambition.

Before bringing the final concept to life, we identified key problems the redesign needed to solve. The main goal was to create a website that communicated a clear, inspiring message: to succeed in sales engineering, you must be courageous enough to embark on a challenging journey, and SalesHero is your guide along the way. In addition to defining this narrative, we also needed to incorporate a robust structure capable of housing training program details, downloadable resources, and educational content in an intuitive format.

The final website was designed to feel like an epic quest for knowledge and mastery. Visitors are immersed in a visual story told through fantasy maps, natural textures, layered gradients, and richly detailed illustrations. These design elements symbolize discovery, exploration, and growth, aligning perfectly with SalesHero’s philosophy of personal and professional development.

Our work also extended to the company’s logo redesign. Staying true to the fantasy theme, we incorporated a phoenix. A symbol of rebirth and perseverance that Patrick had originally used in early brand materials. We refined and modernized this concept, creating a sleek, memorable mark that captures the essence of transformation. The red accent color from the phoenix became a unifying visual thread, appearing throughout the website to create contrast and emotional impact.

To ensure long-term consistency, QFlux developed a comprehensive brand style guide that defined rules for using the identity across social media, presentations, and digital assets. Since one of SalesHero’s core ambitions is to build a knowledge-sharing community, the guide also included custom tags and achievement badges for use in future gamification features and training programs.

The result is a WordPress-powered website that is both creatively daring and highly functional. It engages visitors through storytelling and visual depth while maintaining effortless navigation and clarity of purpose. With its provocative design, strong branding, and seamless usability, the new SalesHero platform not only reflects the spirit of its founder but also inspires users to embark on their own heroic journey toward professional excellence.
