Sentimently is a web application designed for sentiment data analysis, enabling businesses, influencers, and startups to measure emotional reactions to different types of content. The main purpose of Sentimently is to analyze how users emotionally respond to various forms of media—whether it’s audio, video, live streams, or YouTube studies, while they are actively engaging with the content. The system collects feedback instantly, allowing for accurate, real-time data gathering that reflects genuine reactions instead of post-event impressions.

When Sentimently approached QFlux, their existing web app was functional but lacked visual appeal and usability. They needed a redesign that would not only look professional but also make the platform accessible and intuitive for a broad range of users. Before starting, the QFlux team conducted in-depth research, studying how leading data analytics platforms structure their information architecture, data visualization systems, and UX patterns. Together with the client, we identified major usability pain points and developed a plan to simplify navigation, improve clarity, and lower the entry barrier for new users.

To achieve these goals, QFlux focused on refining user roles and journeys. The app now supports two primary user types: admins, who conduct sentiment analysis, and respondents, who provide feedback. Respondents use a slider interface to express their emotional state. From positive to neutral to negative, while interacting with content. These responses generate dynamic visual charts, allowing admins to evaluate patterns and correlations at a glance.

For admins, we designed a robust yet user-friendly dashboard featuring data filtering by research type, project status, and content category. Admins can also share reports, view respondent details, calculate mean reactions, and visualize metrics in multiple formats, enabling deeper insights through clear and organized data presentation.

The project also included a brand refresh. QFlux redesigned the Sentimently logo into a sleek, modern symbol shaped like the letter “S.” The mark represents not only “Sentimently,” but also ideas of synergy, connection, and exchange—echoing the platform’s purpose of bridging emotional responses and data analysis. The new logo features a vibrant shade of blue that became the brand’s primary accent color, running consistently throughout the interface and visual materials.

To complement the redesigned app, our team also built a simple, accessible landing page explaining how Sentimently works. The page includes an introductory explainer video and visuals aligned with the product’s overall aesthetic for a consistent brand presence. A fully responsive mobile version was designed in parallel, ensuring seamless functionality and readability across devices.

With its clean, uncluttered interface and improved usability, Sentimently now offers users a smooth, focused experience. Admins can easily manage data and gain actionable insights, while respondents can share their feedback quickly and intuitively. The result is a platform that combines technical precision with visual simplicity, empowering teams to understand audience sentiment more clearly than ever before.
