By the time QFlux joined the project, MAX Digital was already an established software provider for car dealerships, offering advanced tools for inventory management and automotive merchandising. Their product lineup included MAX My Trade, MAX BDC, MAX Digital Showroom, MAX Trade Value, and MAX Pricing & Appraisal — applications designed to streamline dealership operations. However, as the platform expanded, users began experiencing poor UX and inconsistent interfaces, which affected both usability and overall efficiency.

The client’s key objectives were clear:

  1. Improve user experience across the platform’s various apps.
  2. Unify the interface and create a coherent design system to ensure consistency across all products.

To achieve this, the QFlux team conducted an in-depth UX audit and UI component review to identify usability issues and design gaps. We collaborated closely with MAX Digital’s internal teams through weekly sessions, maintaining open communication and ensuring design alignment. The client actively participated in user testing, providing valuable feedback from their ongoing product research.

Our UX audit involved mapping user journeys across multiple applications to pinpoint shared pain points and eliminate friction. We analyzed behavioral data and user feedback, using these insights to propose actionable improvements. Through several brainstorming and prototyping sessions, we tested new solutions directly with real users, refining the design based on results.

In parallel, we performed a comprehensive UI audit to address inconsistencies caused by the platform’s growth over time. We cataloged all interface components, streamlined redundant elements, and restructured the system for clarity and scalability. Using these findings, QFlux built a robust design system in Figma, optimizing existing components, defining reusable states and interactions, and ensuring visual and functional harmony across all applications.

Once the new design system was implemented, we integrated it into UX prototypes, creating a consistent, efficient, and scalable ecosystem for future development.
