The Historiart team partnered with QFlux to craft a unified and memorable brand identity and packaging design system that would visually express their passion for preserving and promoting cultural heritage.

Because Historiart’s mission centers on safeguarding and sharing historical and cultural legacy, it was essential that their visual identity evoke the same sense of depth, continuity, and emotion. They needed a strong and cohesive brand image that would consistently convey this spirit. Both within collaborating institutions and to the public. Our first objective was to design a brand identity that could reflect Historiart’s mission and create an emotional connection with its audience.

The next step was developing distinctive packaging designs that showcased the brand’s new logo and visual elements. The goal was to make Historiart’s physical products instantly recognizable and visually engaging, helping the company stand out in the cultural marketplace. Together, these components would form a complete, authentic, and timeless identity system that expresses Historiart’s artistic and educational purpose.

To ensure long-term consistency, we consolidated all design decisions into a comprehensive brand style guide. This document provided clear direction on how to apply visual elements from typography and color palettes to patterns and logo usage, ensuring the brand remains cohesive across all channels, from printed materials to digital platforms. Throughout the process, our collaboration with the client was open and creative, allowing for a smooth and enjoyable workflow where QFlux handled much of the strategic and design direction.

In developing the visual identity, we began with the logomark construction. A process rooted in symbolism and meaning. Understanding the importance of representing heritage visually, we took inspiration from palazzo architecture, a form that naturally evokes the essence of culture and preservation. This geometric, timeless structure became the foundation of the logo, instantly communicating Historiart’s connection to historical heritage and artistic integrity.

After finalizing the logomark, the QFlux design team expanded it into a series of custom brand patterns that extend the logo’s essence. The first concept, Roofs, was based on repeating roof shapes derived from the main mark, symbolizing shelter, protection, and the layered history of architectural heritage. The second concept, Pillars, represented strength, legacy, and the continuous evolution of culture over time. These dynamic patterns were designed to bring vibrancy and motion to the brand while staying deeply rooted in its cultural core.

Since QFlux always strives to create scalable, long-term design systems, we ensured that each visual element could be adapted across multiple contexts: packaging, posters, social media, or exhibition displays, while maintaining brand harmony. The brand guidelines provided detailed instructions on applying each element consistently and effectively, enabling the Historiart team to maintain design quality as the brand grows.

In the end, QFlux delivered a complete visual identity and packaging system that helps Historiart stand apart from competitors while staying true to its mission. The new brand identity captures the company’s creative passion and commitment to heritage preservation, inspiring audiences and strengthening Historiart’s position as a bridge between culture, art, and history.
